Kara Kasberg was born and raised in Temple, Texas and has been singing in choirs since she was in elementary school. Ms. Kasberg attended Temple High School (the same high school as Mrs. Ransom) and it was then that she knew she wanted to be a choir teacher!

Ms. Kasberg received her bachelor's in Choral Music Education from the University of North Texas in May of 2014. Mrs. Ransom also received her degree here, so Ms. Kasberg is very excited to learn more from her! While at UNT, Ms. Kasberg represented the college of music at TCDA as a Student Conductor, sang in numerous choral ensembles, and volunteered her time as a representative of the College of Music on audition days.

In her spare time, Ms. Kasberg loves to read, watch football/baseball games, be outside, and cook. This is her first year of teaching, and she could not be more excited to be a part of the HMS family and work alongside Ms. Ransom!
